The piazza looks pretty raw, but we had to finish the "Canyon" (behind Barbara) to its proper slope and move the walls out to where you see them covered with silt fabric.
Here you see why we could not finish the back fill without making a wall around the basement door. We were nervous through out this time, because a heavy rain could have caused the dirt walls to cave in.
The blocks weigh 85 pounds each and they're held in place with fiberglass pins.
Almost done. Brevet finished the walls with half-height cap stones.
